Honestly, this past weekend was spent completely relaxing. My hubby is currently in the middle of a paint project, and with more rain, we decided to stay in. Last weekend though includes a few things that I definitely want to share with you guys. Additionally, I have another amazing giveaway that you will not want to miss. Movie Time

As ya’ll know, Shay and I love to watch movies. And, we are fans of animated movies. So, we could not wait for How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. Friends, this is a must see. It truly is the perfect ending to a trilogy. I laughed, I cried and walked away with a warm heart. It is family friendly just like it’s predecessors but also a delight for adults as well. This one in particular is full of color in some parts that I really enjoyed. Go see it! You’ll leave with a smile on your face!

Zeppelin

Last weekend, we also had brunch with my sister-n-law and her hubs at a local new hot spot called Zeppelin. Not only is this place uber chic, but has delicious dishes. I had the french toast which was absolutely mouth watering. It was garnished with a banana and coconut rum cream which is made in house. Their brunch menu is subject to change seasonally and weekly. That’s exciting to know the next time I return I will try something different. They are located in the South End area of Charlotte and I highly recommend them!

Item Purchased

I ran to my local Blue Mercury which is one of my favorite stores for everything from skincare, makeup to hair care. Fortunately, it’s only about fifteen minutes from home so makes it super easy to swing by when I need something. Recently, I have felt buildup on my hair even though I am minimal with products, especially hair spray. However, it honestly just felt gross and maybe in particular because of all of the rain we have had. With that said, I decided to try out Oribe’s Clarifying Shampoo. This is a unique product in the sense that it’s in a mousse form that lathers into a creamy texture once applied. It works deeply to not only cleanse the hair but also the scalp without stripping. My hair simple felt clean and pure. I feel like it also allowed my hair to absorb my conditioner better as well. I am now on the routine of using this once a week. For reference, I also have color treated hair, it’s perfectly safe and causes no harm to color.
