The countdown continues…2 days and a wake up! Sometimes, I honestly feel like Elf when it comes to Christmas. “The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear!” “I tend to stick to the four basic food groups, candy, candy canes, candy corns, syrup!” I mean really, what is not to love about Christmas!!

You know, I can remember as a kid finding out that Santa wasn’t real. It was in FIRST grade! Ugh, what a heartbreak. I am surprised I didn’t get sent home from school that day. Why? Because I was ready to punch that girl in the face, with her sassy little finger saying, “Santa isn’t real, it’s your mom and dad!” I bet we argued for at least ten minutes straight until the teacher had finally had enough.

Much to my dismay, she was right. But you know what? I NEVER let that destroy my Christmas spirit. In fact, I would get just as giddy lying in bed, hearing my parents put out the presents in the middle of the night!

Fast forward to today, I honestly still have that little girl inside who wakes up with sheer delight on Christmas morning. First of all, I am a believer, so I know the greatest gift that was ever given. Nothing any of us give will ever compare. For me, I also love giving gifts. It warms my heart to watch my husband and family smile, after I’ve searched for the perfect gifts that fits there liking. I pray that never gets old!

This time of year, it’s typically cold in Carolina. So cold, that you need the perfect winter coat. However, this year, someone must have wished for spring like temps! Temps are projected to be in the 60’s! Sheesh, perhaps I should be doing a post about the perfect pair of shorts! Hah!

Nevertheless, old man winter is sure to rear his head here, as he had already done in many states. With that being said, you absolutely can not go wrong with a coat such as this one!
