The long, Labor Day weekend has passed, and now it’s time to head back to work. At least it’s only a four-day work week! I can only smile knowing another weekend is just around the corner. Speaking of weekends, this little minidress has had me twirling. I recently wore it for a night out with the hubby. It is seriously the perfect date-night dress. But, can easily be worn for a brunch or shower as well.

The details of this minidress are what makes it perfect. The embroidery is very intricate, classic and modern all at the same time. The length is very chic and feminine. It’s shorter in the front, while slightly longer in the back. My favorite feature is the cut out on the backside. This certainly makes a playful statement that is not to be missed.

I chose to pair my ivory minidress with these flirty, halogen pumps, for a pop of color. Normally, I would stick with my neutral routine. However, I decided to take a risk! I am certainly glad I did, as I am now in LOVE with this color. This color will be featured on the blog throughout the season with several different looks. If you are like me and normally don’t go for the pop of color, give it a try. You may find yourself falling in love just as I did. Hey, you never know until you try!
