Hello friends! I hope you had a wonderful, restful weekend. We were productive with some projects around the home, but also took in a date night at 131 Main in Charlotte, which has been a favorite for ours for years. I would highly recommend their crab cake salad. It is simply divine. I am super picky when it comes to crab cakes. I honestly only eat them from one other location. I prefer lots of crab meat without a lot of fluff and filler!

Summer Chic Short Outfit

For a summer date night, this look could not be more perfect. It’s sophisticated and feminine. I love that it is super simple, yet looks so elegant and well put together. The belted shorts are comfortable and cool for warm summer evenings. By paring them with a long sleeve blouse like this one, it provides a more chic approach than just a basic short sleeved top. I found this top at Shop Five One Five in Charlotte, but I have linked some similar ones as well. This is my first top by Harshman and most certainly won’t be my last. Then, paired off with heels, statement bag{by far my absolute favorite bag in my collection} and some fun earrings, the perfect ensemble is ready to go! I truly recommend wearing a long sleeve top with shorts especially when going out to dinner. It truly changes the look and is so easy to do! Also for reference, I am wearing a size 6 in the shorts which is very true to size in my opinion. They come in several different colors and the quality, especially for the price, is top notch!
