Can you seriously believe that Christmas is only four days away? Well, as my hubby and I call it, 3 days and a wake up! This has truly been a fun holiday season. From making gingerbread houses with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law, to all of the shopping, wrapping and having my family over last weekend for our first Christmas celebration. My amazing nephews, yes I am partial, but they truly are, have now created the tradition of coming to our house. We chose to keep it super simple with pizza, wings, Kamie’s {my brother’s wife} pineapple cheese ball {which is BEYOND DELICIOUS} my mom’s dip and my famous chocolate chip cake. Our activities ranged from playing White Elephant, to exchanging our gifts, to making the cake with the boys and watching a Christmas movie. I don’t think it gets any better than that! Keeping things simple often allows for the best and most relaxing time.
Additionally, another fave this season was seeing the wonderful Christmas play, the Promise, with my in-laws. It starts with the birth of Christ and shares the story of his life up through the crucifixion. Most definitely, it puts your focus on the true meaning of the season.
Now, maybe you are trying to decide what to wear on Christmas Day. My personal preference for a cozy Christmas look, is one that is comfortable, with a pop of color for the season. I am not saying to break out grandma’s Christmas sweater from 1982. Although, that would certainly make an epic statement!

For starters, selecting an adorable little sweater like this one, will get you going in the right direction. Perhaps, you might be like me and despise itchy sweaters. I simply can’t handle them. Well, I found the solution. A cashmere blend that doesn’t itch and also doesn’t break the bank. Score! Not only that, you can easily pull together pieces such as a beanie and bow gloves for that oh so cute Christmas look. Moreover, this sweater will carry you right through the winter.
Hope ya’ll have a wonderful rest of the week and remain on the nice list!
Wow, this is such a great wearable holiday look! I am loving pom-pom beanies this winter. Yours is so cute! Happy holidays
