Is it just me, or does every weekend seem to just fly by? I think it’s so true what they say, time flies when you are having fun! This weekend was definitely a fun one. Shay{my hubby} and I watched the new Jack Reacher, which is a really good flick. I suggest watching it! No fear, the first one is not a pre-requisite if you haven’t seen it yet.

On top of that, we spent the afternoon on Sunday, with his family in the mountains. The weather this time of year is so gorgeous for time outdoors. We also shared some of our experiences in Nashville with them. And, I absolutely can’t wait to share some of those experiences soon with ya’ll too!

Now on to some fashion talk. Has anyone felt like we have been all over the place with the weather these days? I know sure I have! To be honest, it’s quite perplexing when it comes to selecting the right casual fall daywear to match this weather.

Even though some days are warmer than others, I feel it best to stick to a light weight, long sleeve top and pair of jeans. I know I’ve shared prior pieces from the Loft, but seriously you can find the cutest pieces at such an affordable price. The top shown here is so soft, comfy and cute. My favorite part though are the button details down the back. Unfortunately, this top is sold out. But, I have linked some similar styles below.

The jeans are a total fave in my closet at the current moment. You’ve seen me style them before, and I am sure you may again. They are current from Banana Republic and worth every cent. I have worn and washed them numerous times and they are holding true to shape and color. This exact color is no longer in stock but I have linked the same style in a different color.

Shay and I have been on the go a lot recently. I can’t complain, especially after an amazing birthday weekend in Nashville. Yet, I am honestly looking forward to a relaxing weekend of nothing coming up!
