Well hello Wednesday! Okay, so maybe it’s just me, but who else is so ready for a little turkey and a nice little break? I am totally ready for stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, the big bird and of course some pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Good thing I am trying to hit the gym hard these days in preparation for that feast. I am one lucky gal too because the only part I have to prepare is the cheesecake! I am sure to feature that on the blog soon, so be on the lookout! It’s a recipe not to be missed.

Okay, onto the current day at hand. Let’s talk a little about simple easy workwear. Luckily, I have a business casual dress code at my office. And due to that, I honestly wear a lot of denim with blouses or blazers. I throw on a pair of wedges or booties, and out the door I go. Yet, from time to time, I still like to dress it up a little.

When it comes to work, I need simple, quick and easy. I am sure most of you can relate. With that being said, that is something that can be accomplished without breaking the bank. For business casual, I find that Banana Republic and even the outlet, can be a great source for those items.

A delicate blouse and fitted dress pant make the perfect pair for simple easy workwear. Neither item needs to be complicated. To add just a bit of a statement, I chose these slacks that have a dotted print, rather than the everyday black pant. Being that the top was silver, the dots seemed to just pop. To finish off the look, I tossed on some strappy heels, with my own jewelry and headed out the door.

The key to this look is finding the right pair of pant that flatters your figure. That is another reason why I tend to lean towards Banana Republic. Many different styles can be found there for practically every shape. They also tend to have greatly quality items that last and often have special offers.
