Hey ya’ll! I am going to be sharing some highlights over the coming weeks of our favorite spots from our trip to Rosemary beach, Florida and our most recent one to Charleston, South Carolina. I’m kicking off this week by sharing an adorable spot in Charleston that I hit each time I visit called Candlefish.
A fun fact is that not only do I love fashion, beauty and travel, but I absolutely LOVE candles. You can honestly call me a candle junkie as I have several stocked in a bathroom cabinet right now! Shay can tell you guys that I will spend hours just sniffing candles! There is just something so comforting and happy when finding a scent that you like.
Candlefish is a quaint, one-of-a-kind candle store tucked on the corner of Wentworth and King Street. Here you will find seasonal scents, unique scents, floral, citrus, gourmand and everything in between! Many name brand candles are carried here as well as their own personal library of candles. This library currently houses one hundred different scents! You will certainly find candles on every corner that you turn once entering the store. Yet, they are most definitely there to guide you should you need assistance.
To me, exploring the library is essential on your visit. It truly creates a memorable experience like no other. An associate will most graciously guide you on your journey. You can without a doubt, explore each and every candle{believe me, I wanted to smell them all}however, that can be quite overwhelming. I suggest knowing the scent family that you typically prefer and allow the associate to begin making recommendations from that point.
Beyond candles, you will also find additional accessories as well. From room diffusers, sprays, jewelry, stationary to foiled maps created by a local artist. I actually picked one of those up last year and it has made a lovely addition to my home office.
Some of my current favorites from the library are 14, 36, 48, 61 and 86. Last, but not least, each candle from the library comes in a 2.5 oz tin as well as a 9 oz glass. This way, you can test one if your aren’t ready to commit to the larger size. You can always order online when you get back home too!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and my hope is that you’ll visit Candlefish when in Charleston. You will love it! Have a wonderful week friends!
