Dearest Dawn was created as a means to share my adoration for fashion, beauty and my love for travel.

Having a love for coordinating a great outfit dates all the way back to my childhood. It’s truly never ceased. Honestly, I am learning to have more fun now with fashion, than ever before.

Additionally, I enjoy experimenting with beauty products, in search of the one that just makes you feel fabulous!

Traveling, whether to a Caribbean Island, a resort in Mexico, or to a great state in the US, is part of a thrilling way to enjoy life. Seeing and experiencing new places is food for the soul. Zemi Beach, a recent trip is featured here on the blog. I can’t wait to share future experiences, as well as, some past times with you!

I also love to write! To me, writing is an enjoyable and creative way to simply share your thoughts and ideas. There are no limits with creativity when it comes to writing.

I have known for quite some time that I wanted to do “something” I just didn’t know what that “something” was until now.

Dearest Dawn is the “something” my heart desires to do.

Dearest Dawn, is a derivative of my name, Heather Dawn. The southern girl, with now a city twist, from Hudson, North Carolina.

A graduate of Appalachian State University. The wife of a prior military man. Former teacher. A daughter of the King.

Dawn means “awakening” and that is just what this journey will be to me.

My hope is that you will have fun along with me on this new adventure. And perhaps, find a little inspiration along the way.
